Location - Agriturismo Il Cerro

Our houses are situated few minutes away by car from the beautiful Cortona , an Etruscan town rich of art, breathtaking views and unforgettable landscapes. Roads and railways will easily allow you to visit  the most important cities of Tuscany and central Italy: Perugia, Siena, Florence and Arezzo, but also small jewels as Pienza, Montepulciano, Assisi, Gubbio and Lake Trasimeno, one of the biggest lake of Italy with its beaches, islands and many small historic centres set in a natural environment still intact and uncontaminated.

-If you are arriving from the A1 Milan-Rome, you should take the Val di Chiana exit, follow the superstrada Bettolle – Perugia and exit in the Cortona-Foiano direction.
Follow the signs for Farneta, Camucia and once you get to Cortona don’t enter into the town but follow the walls surrounding it from the outside and keep going for the “Strada provinciale 34 umbro – Cortonese”.
Keep going for another 8 km, and without leaving the main road you’ll get to Portole; 2 km after you’ll find our Agriturismo, and you can recognize it by the wooden sign and the fence surrounding it.

-If you are arriving come from the E45, you should take the Trestina exit and take the “Strada provincial 34 umbro – Cortonese” and then keep on to it for about 20 km until you get to Teverina. Then from this small village you have to continue for another three kilometers and then you are arrived to the agriturismo. You will recognize Il Cerro from the wood sign along the road.
